Waffles

Waffles remind me of holiday time. I just bought strawberries and I thought that we will have summer at home  today. This recipe is for everyone, even for kids with allergies.

My recipe does not contain cow milk or eggs. These Waffles taste great, you have to try them.

Waffles for kids with eggs and milk allergy

Ingredients:

  1. 2 1/2 cup flour;
  2. 3/4 cup sugar;
  3. 2 tsp baking powder;
  4. 1 tsp baking soda;
  5. 1/2 tsp salt;
  6. 2 1/2 cup rice or soy milk;
  7. 1/4 cup oil;
  8. 1 tsp vanilla extract.

Preparation:

Stir together the dry ingredients together (from 1 to 5) in a large bowl.

Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients, pour in the wet ingredients (from 6 to 8).

I think your kid will be more than happy if you let him pour the wet ingredients.

Mix everything thoroughly. The batter should have the consistency of thick cream so the waffles will be crispy.

Time for baking. Preheat the waffle maker and spray with an oil spray. It is very important to grease the waffle maker,so that the waffles will not tear during the opening of the waffle maker.

Pour 1/2 cup of the batter into each waffle form. Of course each waffle maker is different so read the manual.

Baked waffles until golden brown, then using a wooden tool remove it.

Transfer warm waffles to a wire rack.

The recipe makes have 14 waffles.

Waffle with jam and strawberries.

Waffle with maple syrup and raisins.

Serving proposal with whipped cream for adults.
