This recipe shows how to roast pork and has tips how to make delicious gravy.
- 0.5 kg boned pork lion;
- 3 tbsp oil;
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed;
- 1 tbsp marjoram;
- 2 tsp paprika;
- sal, pepper;
- 1/2 cup water.
Place the pork in an ovenproof dish. Rub it with crushed garlic, grease it with oil and sprinkle it with marjoram, paprika, salt and pepper. Pour 1/2 cup of water on the bottom of the dish and cover it with aluminum foil.
Cook in a preheated oven at 200 °C (400 °F) for 1 hour or until the juices run clear when the meat is pierced with a fine skewer.
Transfer the roasted pork to a board and slice it, then cover with aluminum foil.
How to make the gravy
- cooking juices;
- 1/2 cup water;
- 2 tbsp flour;
- salt, pepper.
There is a lot of cooking juices in the dish, strain them to a small saucepan, add 1/2 cup of water, then reheat.
Mix the water and 2 tablespoon of flour together in a small cup.
Pour the mixture slowly into the saucepan with the cooking juices, stirring constantly to achieve smooth consistency. Simmer for 2 minutes, then season to taste.
